I am SO excited to be here! This will be my first year teaching fifth grade, but it will be my fourth year in the classroom! Previously, I worked at Louisa County Middle School, where I taught sixth grade Science. I really enjoyed my time there but I wanted to return to where I found my passion for education---elementary school! I graduated from Longwood University where I majored in Liberal Studies- Elementary Education in spring 2012! GO LANCERS! I will be teaching content and read aloud to all the fifth graders this year and I am so lucky to have them in my class.
In my free time, I love to hang out with family and friends, go for hikes, try (keyword try) to cook new recipes, and read lots of books!
I cannot wait for a wonderful year with all of you!
